Frequently Asked Questions

What are the select fees and what do they cover?
The fees for U10-14 will be $450 for the full year. Included in that price is:

  • Pre-Season Training Camp in August led by Marian University Coaching Staff and Players
  • 16-20 regular season league games (approx 8-10 regular season games each season Fall + Spring).
  • 4 Tournaments. 2 in Fall, and 2 in Spring. Tournaments are selected by Select Director and Team Coaches.
  • Referee fees for all regular season games and tournaments
  • 8 Indoor Winter Training Sessions led by Marian University Coaching Staff and Players
  • Coaching Expenses including continuing education, licensing, apparel, and training equipment.
  • Field Maintenance Fees for the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex
  • Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) Team and Player Card Fees.
  • Position trainings during the year (i.e. goal keeper training) offered by club.
  • All Administrative Fees

The fees for U15-19 will be $225 for the year. The difference is these teams play only Fall (Girls) or Spring (Boys) so have one season of regular season league games (8-10) and two tournaments. All other inclusions remain the same.

What is the field maintenance fee?
The FDLSA maintains 53 acres of soccer fields. Registration fees help cover the cost to mow, stripe, fertilize and repair fields, as well as net and goal maintenance and replacement, and anything else that takes place on the grounds.

What about the referee fees?
The state association sets the referee fees, each team is responsible to pay ½ of the center referee fee and 1 AR. Fees can be found on the website.

More on the tournaments.
The Select Director and Coach from each team will pick what tournaments they want to go to and give the registration to the club treasurer.

What if we want more training?
The club is looking at some other training opportunities that may carry an additional fee for them. Those will be optional and the responsibility of each player.
