The Phoenix Academy trains twice per week, with licensed coaches following a structured curriculum approved by the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association, focused on long-term player development.
All training sessions are held at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex. Practice days and times are determined at the team level based on coach and player availability, rather than being set by the club. League games are typically scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with approximately half played at home and half away. SECL opponents include teams from Fond du Lac, Plymouth, Sheboygan, and the greater Milwaukee area.
The fall season begins with training in early August, followed by 6–7 league games in September and October. The spring season starts with training in early March, with games beginning in mid-April and concluding in mid-June. In addition to league play, each team will participate in 1–2 tournaments or friendly events per season.
Age Grouping: The Academy is open to U9 and U10 players, with teams formed based on school year rather than birth year.
Costs: The Academy fee for the full year (fall and spring seasons) is $TBA. Players are required to purchase a uniform kit, which typically costs approximately $125-$150 and includes jerseys, shorts, and socks. Payment plans are available.
Volunteer Requirement: Academy families are required to volunteer at the Foot of the Lake Classic Tournament, held at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex during the last weekend of August. Each family is asked to contribute a minimum of two volunteer hours (buyout options available).
