Hello,

Thank you for registering your child for our upcoming youth soccer rec league season with the Fond du Lac Soccer Association. As we get closer to the season, we will begin to send out communications to keep parents “in the loop” the best we can. My emails at times do get long but hopefully too much information is better than no information.

Quick general timeline on the upcoming rec league season for our U4-U14 players.

· March 22^nd we will begin forming teams, assigning team sponsors, and assigning coaches.

· April 1^st Week: Target week to submit the uniform/jersey order (so we plan to have all our sponsors locked in by then).

· April 15^th Week: Target week for player and team placements to be released as well as the game schedule for the regular season & Spring Games.

· May 6^th Week: Kickoff Week! - there will be scheduled practices for U4-U14 this week on your normal game night. We will also be distributing jerseys, water bottles, and keeper cards this week.

· May 13^th Week: “Scrimmage Week” with scheduled matchups + Referee Training Week.  

· May 20^th: Wear your jersey to school day and official games kick-off.

· May 27^th: No Games on Memorial Day. Monday games will be played on Thursday, May 30^th.

· June 1 (Saturday) – Picture Day and Spring Games (1-2 games) for U4-U14 Girls Teams

· June 2 (Sunday) – Picture Day and Spring Games (1-2 games) for U4-U14 Boys Teams

· June 5^th: High School League play begins with the season concluding July 31^st.  – HS teams do not participate in the EOY Tournament in July.

· July 1^st Holiday Week: No Games

· July 8^th: Last week of regular season games for U4-U14

· July 13^th & 14^th: End of Year Tournament & Festival of Games. Saturday, U4-U8 girls will all play 2 games. Sunday, U4-U8 boys will play two games. U9-U14 will play games on both Saturday and Sunday, tournament style.  

What your child will need to play soccer:

· Soccer Cleats

· Soccer Socks

· Shin Guards

· Shorts (black preferred)

· Soccer Ball (click for sizing by age)

We are still working through a lot of details and updates as we lead up to the season so over the next several weeks, we will continue to feed you information to prepare for the season.

Please pass the word to friends, neighbors, co-workers (and all) that if they are not signed up (like you are) do get registered at FondySoccer.com ASAP.

For those that have been around, know we do “Shopping Days” at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Oshkosh each spring and fall where our parents (and anyone in the community) can get 20%. The Fond du Lac Soccer Spring Event will be April 12-14^th
