The Fond du Lac Soccer Association is a WYSA accredited academy program and is part of the WYSA SECL Academy League for U9 and U10. These teams will participate in regional academy league games in the fall and spring (6 games) and participate in 1-2 tournaments each season (fall and spring). Regular fall season schedules are typically available mid-August from WYSA and it is up to each team/coach what nights and times they practice based on what works best for that team and conclude in late October. In the spring the season begins mid-April and concludes mid-June.
Training will begin for Academy in early August twice per week with 6 regular season games (typically on a Saturday or Sunday) in September and October. Each team will also play 1-2 tournaments in the fall. Each player will also have the opportunity to attend our Pre-Season Training Camp the first week of August (additional cost).
We hope you consider registering to play in the Fond du Lac Youth Soccer Academy League! If you have any specific questions, please reach out to Andy Gill at agill@fondysoccer.com.
The ages for the 2025/2026 season this coming year are U9 (players born in 2017) and U10 (players born in 2016). If you are interested in participating in the fall and spring season Academy program, the Fond du Lac Soccer Club our open house events are complete but you can still contact Chad Collett at president@fondysoccer.com to see if there is room on teams to join. At the academy level, if space is available, all players are accepted. The “tryout/open house” events we held were a way for players and parents to meet the coaches, our Academy Director, and our Director of Coaching to learn more about the program, the goals, and the commitment required.
All players that register for "tryouts" and express an interest in joining will be extended an offer to register for the Academy program as space is available.
The Fond du Lac Soccer Association "Phoenix Academy" is a program available to girls and boys in the U9 and U10 Age Groups based on Birth Year. Soccer Academy programs are designed to bridge the gap between recreation league and select (competitive) league play focusing on player development from professional coaching to create the best possible environment for our youth soccer players to excel once they reach the select level at U11.
The Phoenix Academy focuses on these key areas: Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Psychosocial.
